More Glass Painting Projects.

Well this week we have two more glass painting projects for you as well as part 4 of our online glass painting course.

As well as the glass painting we also have some notes about the recent privacy changes. Please do read these as they contain some important information.

In our next newsletter we are hoping to bring you some new designs as well as our first proper project using oven bake glass paints (the one we reviewed a couple of months back).

Wall Plaque Glass Painting Project.

This is a very versatile project. I used it to make a set of wall plaques with my daughters name on but you could use it for all sorts of other ideas. Likewise our design is quite “flowery” but you could do one based on footballs or animals etc.

Online Glass Painting course Part 4.

In the 4th part of our online courzse we look at different ways of working with solvent based glass paints. However most of these techniques would also work with flowing waterbased paints. We look at blending and mixing paints as well as some of the different types of paint available.

GDPR.

I bet many of you are sick of hearing about GDPR, I know I am. However it is a legal requirement that we implement it on our website. For most of you the only information we hold about you is your email address and you can unsubscribe from this at anytime by clicking on the link which is contained in each email we send out. This does leave a couple of other issues.

Those who have used our shop.

Our shop keeps a record of all orders. This information includes the name, address and email address of the person ordering and a list of what they ordered. We keep this information for 18 months. If you would us to delete it sooner please just email us at admin@glasspainting.co.uk and we will happily delete it.

Cookies on the sites.

Cookies used on the site fall into two categories. We have the ones essential to the running of the site, they tell us if you hare logged into the shop, it you have see the email pop-up etc. They don’t contain personal information but we will be listing them on our privacy page so you will know what is going on.

We have other “non-essential” cookies on the site and we are working on a system which will allow you to opt out of these. They cover the ads on the stat on our Stats counter. In the meantime we have “downgraded” our AdSense ads so they are no longer personalised. meaning they don’t use any information Google holds on you and you are not tracked in the same way as you would be with personalised ads.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding privacy on our site please do feel free to email us: admin@glasspainting.co.uk .

Glass Painting a Dream Catcher.

Glass Painting a Dream Catcher.

Glass Painted Dream Catcher.

As with the Mandala project we did a couple of months ago this Dream Catcher is based on a large peel off design from Je Je. The project is very similar although there are extra “bits” which are strung above and below the main piece.

If you buy this Dream catcher peel off it does come with a piece of thick actate to work on although we upgrade this and used thick film for the main piece (and the actate for the smaller extra bits).

Well that’s all for this week. Sorry about the long diatribe about GDPR but is something we have to deal with otherwise the site (and me) could get into serious trouble. We will be having more Glass Painting Projects in the near future.

Happy C rafting.

Yours, Bob.
